Corporate gifts that actually get kept.

A great corporate gift doesn’t just say thank you — it says you paid attention. Whether you’re recognizing a long-term client, closing a deal, or celebrating a milestone, the right gift can turn a business relationship into a brand memory. Inskribo helps Canadian companies send corporate gifts that land well, look premium, and reflect the brand behind them.

Gifting with a point of view

People remember the gifts they actually use.

The fundamentals

What makes a great corporate gift.

Three things separate a gift that gets kept from one that gets forgotten. We build every program around them.

01 / UTILITY

Useful, not decorative

The best gifts earn a permanent spot on someone’s desk or in their bag — not a shelf they never look at.

02 / BRAND

Brand-connected

Every gift is an opportunity to extend your brand. We make sure it looks and feels like you.

03 / PRESENTATION

Thoughtfully packaged

From custom boxes to handwritten notes, presentation matters as much as the product itself.

The Canadian holiday gifting calendar

December is the delivery date, not the deadline. If you want to choose the gift rather than settle for whatever can still arrive, the decision gets made by Canadian Thanksgiving, in the second week of October.

That isn't us being dramatic. Decoration shops across Ontario and Quebec fill their fourth-quarter slots in September and October, popular stock often doesn't come back until spring, anything crossing the border needs a real buffer, and Quebec packaging needs its French copy proofed before it prints.

  1. Second week of October: decide. Who's on the list, how it splits into tiers, and what each tier is worth.
  2. Third week of October: lock artwork and quantities. This is when decoration slots get booked and stock gets held.
  3. Fourth week of October to the second week of November: production. Add a week to any quote, two if it crosses the border. French proofing for Quebec happens here, not after.
  4. Third and fourth weeks of November: kitting, packing and notes. The step everyone forgets to schedule, and the one that does the most work.
  5. First and second weeks of December: delivery. Inside the carriers' holiday cut-offs, which land earlier than you'd think, especially for remote and northern addresses.

The full breakdown: your real deadline is Thanksgiving

What different budgets usually buy

Start with the relationship, not the number. A thank-you after a small project and a gift to the client who carried your year are different jobs, and they deserve different gifts.

These ranges are per gift, before shipping. They're a starting point for the conversation, not a price list, and every program is quoted on its own.

Under $40

A broad thank-you list. One genuinely useful piece, done well, with a printed card.

$40 to $100

The workhorse range for client lists. A premium drinkware or apparel piece, gift-boxed with a personal note.

$100 to $200

A curated set of two or three pieces that belong together, in custom packaging.

$200 and up

Your top relationships. Premium retail brands, outerwear or a larger set, packed to open like a present.

How a gifting program works with us

  1. A 30-minute call. The list, the tiers, the budget, the date it has to land, and what you want people to feel when they open it.
  2. A short, curated proposal. A handful of strong options per tier, each with a reason. Not forty pages of catalogue.
  3. Samples and proofs. You approve the artwork and, where it matters, see the real thing before anything is made. French copy gets proofed here.
  4. Production, kitting and notes. Decoration, packaging and personal notes, assembled and checked.
  5. Delivery. To each recipient's door or to your offices, anywhere in Canada or around the world, tracked.

Common questions

When should we start planning holiday gifting?

For December delivery in Canada, make the decision by Thanksgiving in the second week of October, lock artwork and quantities the week after, and plan on production through the second week of November. Custom items, personalisation and kitting all add time, and the closer you get to the season the more the good options disappear.

Should the gift carry our logo?

Lightly, or on the packaging rather than the product. A client gift is meant to feel like a gift; heavy branding turns it into advertising the recipient didn't ask for. Discreet branding usually lands better than none at all.

Can you ship gifts directly to our clients?

Yes, including individually addressed packages with a personalised note. You supply the list; we handle kitting, packing and delivery, so nothing arrives at your office to be re-shipped.

What's a sensible budget per gift?

It depends far more on the relationship than on a rule. The useful question is what the gift sits next to — a thank-you after a small project and a gift to a long-standing client are different jobs. We'll shape a shortlist around the range you give us.

Are there rules about gifting to clients in certain industries?

Often, yes — government, healthcare, financial services and public companies frequently cap the value of gifts their staff may accept. Check the recipient's policy before you choose; we can help you build something that stays within a stated limit.

What are good corporate gifts for clients?

Things they'll use every week and wouldn't buy for themselves: premium drinkware, a well-made layer, quality tech, or a curated set of two or three pieces that belong together. Keep the branding light, add a handwritten note, and match the gift to the relationship. The best client gift says you paid attention.

Do you handle corporate gifting across Canada?

Yes. We're based in Mississauga, Ontario, and ship to individual home addresses or offices anywhere in Canada. Fulfilment and shipping are worldwide too, so clients and teams outside Canada are covered.

Is it too late to order corporate holiday gifts?

Usually not, but the options shrink every week after Thanksgiving. In-stock products with simple decoration can still land in December if you decide by the fourth week of October. Later than that, a January gift is a strong move: it arrives when nobody else is sending anything.
