Inside Sales & Client Service Rep
You'll be the client-facing engine of our day-to-day business — owning quotes, orders, and client communication alongside our Production Coordinator (who runs proofs, logistics, and delivery) so our founder can focus on major program accounts — and you'll get real inside-sales responsibility with a path to growing your own book.
Client Service (core of the role)
- Own the front end of every order: quotes and product presentations, order entry, and client communication from "yes" to delivery — you're the client's main point of contact
- Hand off cleanly to our Production Coordinator at order entry (she owns proofs, production, logistics, and customs) and keep the client informed while she works her magic
- Own invoicing and billing admin: PO follow-ups, invoice accuracy, keeping receivables moving
- Maintain program inventory reports for our annual program accounts (monthly reconciliation with clients)
- Keep our CRM (HubSpot) clean and current
Inside Sales (grows over time)
- Follow up on sample kits and marketing campaign replies; book meetings
- Proactive reorder outreach to existing accounts ("conference season is coming — ready to restock?")
- Nurture and grow a starter book of smaller accounts with support and coaching
Why this seat is good
- Learn program-level account management on national accounts most CSRs never touch
- Direct mentorship from the founder; no bureaucracy
- Clear path: own the service desk → own a book of business → grow with the company
- Performance bonus tied to retention and reorder growth of the accounts you manage
You're Probably…
- 2+ years in the promotional products industry — at a distributor, or in customer service/inside sales at a supplier — and you know decoration methods, virtuals, PO flow, and what "in-hands date" really means
- The person who catches the pricing error on the quote and the missing PO before anyone else
- Organized to a fault: many small orders in flight, nothing dropped
- Comfortable on the phone and warm on email — clients should love hearing from you
- Hungry for a seat where your work is visible and your growth isn't capped by a corporate ladder
